Cedar Gate Recognized by KLAS Research for Payer-Provider Collaboration and Bundled Payment Program Success

June 24, 2026

Cedar Gate’s analytics and bundled payment expertise helped dramatically reduce back and neck treatment costs for regional healthcare system and its payer partners

Cedar Gate Technologies, an IQVIA business, earned its fourth KLAS Research recognition for advancing payer-provider collaboration, with this year’s honor spotlighting a successful bundled payment program developed in partnership with MedBen Health Benefits and the Brain & Spine Network: Baptist + Semmes Murphey (BSN).

The award highlights how Cedar Gate’s decades of experience designing, implementing, and operating prospective bundled payment programs helped Baptist Memorial’s and Semmes Murphey’s BSN deliver impressive results for MedBen’s participating members, including:

  • Reducetotal cost of care by 60% compared to patients who received similar care outside BSN
  • Achieve50% lower surgical intervention rates by developing conservative care bundled payment pathways
  • Successfully diverted 91% of appropriate care from hospital inpatient to ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs)
  • Received 97% patient satisfaction, based on patients who would recommend the program
  • Significantly reduced avoidable emergency room (ER) and urgent care visits

“We are honored to be recognized by KLAS Research for another year, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to partnering with healthcare organizations in their value-based care efforts,” said Tabitha Hoover, SVP of Client Performance, Bundles Solution at Cedar Gate. “Our flexible bundled payment solutions help payers and providers succeed in advanced alternative payment models and achieve their goals of lower total cost of care and better outcomes for patients and members.”

KLAS Points of Light Awards recognize success stories from across the U.S. that feature effective payer-provider collaboration and help organizations achieve their value-based care goals of lower costs and better healthcare delivery and outcomes.

“We implemented bundled payments because of their proven, repeatable ability to reduce costs while maintaining care quality and patient satisfaction for the people we serve,” said Kimberly Hallum Stewart, Corporate Administrator, Neurosciences and CV Services at Baptist Memorial Health Care. “Partnering with Cedar Gate provided our team with deep bundles experience and composable solutions that could be tailored to our unique needs as a healthcare organization, and the needs of our patients.”
